Simply place these non-toxic insect traps near common fruit-fly breeding areas such as garbage cans, fruit bowls and sinks and the liquid bait will lure fruit flies inside. Once inside, flies cannot escape to breed and multiply further. The apple shape of these traps makes an attractive addition to your kitchen décor. Each activated fruit fly trap lasts up to 60 days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by USNA from Works Great This product works great for trapping those pesky fruit flies. It's very discreet on your counter. It started to trap fruit flies immediately. I've had it on the kitchen counter for over two weeks, and it still seems to be working.We went back to Lowes to purchase a few more to have on hand. Last summer I made my own concoction from directions I found on the internet. That homemade formula worked well, but meant I had to make a new formula every few days, and have bowls scattered in different rooms of the house. This product is effective and easier to use.

I had experienced a deluge of fru9t flies due to some fruit I had gotten that had an infestation at it's center that was undetectable when I purchased it. The very first hour after I followed the packaging directions was beyond amazing. As the cliché says, they were drawn to it like a moth to a flame! Within 2 days time I no longer say any fruit flies other than those who were trapped in the device. I would highly recommend this product to anyone experiencing a fruit fly infestation. It's certainly a miracle worker.

Didn't know where they were coming from so it was pretty frustrating exhausting trying to get rid of them. We changed our all of our fruits and veggies, wrapped them in plastic bags, washed out our trash cans and sinks and even re soiled all of our plants since we used compostable soil we thought maybe that was the issue. Anyways we tried ALL of that and even had cups of apple cider vinegar ALL OVER the house. It was terrible. Our friend got use these and when they actually started to work we when out and got more! They worked amazingly well and didnt smell up our house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sweetie from Truly Amazing!!! While on vacation, we forgot our fruit for the road trip on the counter. Two weeks later, we came home to find an infestation of fruit flies. They were everywhere. We tried all kinds of products for several weeks, but to no avail. I purchased the Terro traps and within three days the infestation was well controlled. Within a week, not one fly remained. It was very difficult to control the infestation as just as soon as we cleared them, several more appeared within hours. But the Terro traps not only rid us of the infestation, it kept them gone. The small Apple actually fools guest with an appearance of a nick- knack. This is the most amazing product, I would recommend it to anyone!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Beau from Terro Fruit Fly Trap I was delighted when I found this product. I love to grow vegetables, unfortunately fruit flies and added feature to this hobby in summer. I tried natural remedies to correct the problem, because I don't like chemical sprays. None worked. But this little gem has been a God send . Just wish they were on sale, cause I'd buy even more of them to get through the summer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jingles from Works great!!! I had my doubts that a little apple was going to attract & kill fruit flies but it worked very quickly! Have had numerous fruit/vegetable products in the house for canning purposes and haven't had any fruit flies.

Rated 3 out of 5 by RRD4 from I haven't seen any flies since we set them out! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In fairness, though, I haven't seen any flies in the traps either. The traps are small (think slightly larger than a golf ball) and easy to hide. The liquid that comes in the package is enough to bait one trap for 60 days or 2 traps for 30 days. The bait evaporates fairly quickly, so it won't last more than a month. I haven't been able to find refills for the bait on the internet, so I assume the marketing strategy is to make you buy new traps every month or two. There are plenty of DIY concoctions that accomplish the same thing, and I may try filling the traps with something I brew up at home.

When apple cider vinegar and dish soap didn't do the trick, I put these two traps out—one by the trash can and one on the counter in the spot where we usually kept our bananas (before we put the bananas in the fridge to hide them from the flies!). Within two days, THERE WAS NO FRUIT FLY IN SIGHT. In the photo, it's hard to tell because the plastic covers some of the floaters, but each trap probably caught close to 20 fruit flies. I'm impressed!!
